Why Do You Need Event Cancellation Insurance?
With an EventShield™ policy, your perfect plans are protected against the unpredictable situations that could cause reduced attendance, postponement or complete cancellation of the event. An EventShield™ policy offers protection if, due to circumstances beyond your control, your organization suffers a loss of expenses or anticipated gross revenue because:
- The event is cancelled, interrupted, postponed or relocated
- You are unable to complete any or all of the scheduled activities once the event has commenced
- A speaker or entertainer is not able to appear, provided that the performance is not the principal purpose of the “Event”
- Your anticipated attendance is reduced

Perils Include:
- Adverse weather such as blizzards, floods, tornados and hurricanes
- Fire, collapse or destruction to the event site
- Power failures, labor disputes, industrial unrest
In addition, you will be covered for:
- Physical loss of personal property
- Physical loss of door registration receipts
- Coverage for workshops, seminars and planning meetings and reasonable and necessary costs to avoid or minimize the extent of a loss
Features:
- Policy extends to five (5) days after the event or events
- One policy can cover multiple events
Terrorism Coverage Options:
- May be included in accordance with the Terrorism Risk Insurance Extension Act
- Can be excluded or included on a limited basis
